This coffee shop, located at No.17-G, Jalan Puteri 1/6, is a beacon for those seeking comforting traditional flavors wrapped in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The menu shines with beloved Malaysian staples crafted with care. Highlights include the richly spiced Sarawak Laksa, a beloved noodle soup that captures the essence of Bornean cuisine with its complex, tangy broth and fresh ingredients. Another star is the Nasi Lemak Rendang—fragrant rice paired with tender, slow-cooked rendang, embodying the heart of Malaysian comfort food. Breakfast enthusiasts will appreciate the Hai Siang All Day Breakfast, which pairs perfectly with a half-boiled egg, reflecting the simple yet satisfying kopitiam tradition.

Drinks here are just as thoughtfully prepared. The Kopi Cham Teh C and Teh Ice offer classic coffee and tea combinations, delivering bold flavors balanced with sweetness, ideal for pairing with light bites like their Ham and Cheese Sandwich or the nostalgic Chicken Luncheon Meat with Egg Sandwich. For those with a sweet tooth, the Banana Fritters provide a delightful finish.

The experience at Hai Siang Kopitiam extends beyond its food. Regulars like Amirul Harraz and Ashton Por praise not only the balanced flavors but also the genuine hospitality. It’s a place where familiarity grows with each visit—welcoming smiles, personalized service, and a relaxed pace enhance the dining experience.

The kopitiam’s ambiance blends old-school charm with cleanliness and comfort. Indoor seating offers a cooler retreat compared to the outdoor space, which is perfect for casual conversations under the open air. Its appeal spans a broad audience—families, solo diners, and friends looking for a cozy spot to enjoy classic Malaysian fare and thoughtful drinks.

Hai Siang Kopitiam feels like home the moment you walk in! The staff are incredibly friendly, making every visit warm and welcoming. Their “Kitchen Sink” dish is hands down the best on the menu—an absolute must-try for anyone looking to indulge. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and you can taste the care that goes into every bite. This place has become my go-to spot for comfort food and great vibes. Highly recommend!

My favourite place to yum cha whenever I'm in Puchong! I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in Hai Siang. The Sarawak Laksa, Homemade Steamed Chicken Rice, Mee Suah, Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Luncheon Meat with Egg Sandwich and the "Roti Bakar" were good. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Bandar Puteri.

I’ve been coming to this spot for quite some time now, and it’s honestly become one of my favorite places—not just to eat, but to spend time and unwind. The food here is consistently exceptional. Every dish, whether it’s one of my go-to favorites or something new from the menu, is prepared with such care and attention to detail. You can taste the freshness in every bite, and there’s a real depth of flavor that shows just how much pride goes into the cooking. But as good as the food is (and it really is that good), what keeps me coming back just as much—if not more—is the atmosphere created by the owners. They are some of the warmest, most genuine people I’ve ever met in a restaurant setting. From the very first time I walked in, they made me feel welcome, like more than just a customer. They always greet me with a smile, ask how I’m doing, and even remember the little details—like my usual order or how I take my drink. Over time, it’s gone beyond just great service; it’s clear they truly care about their guests and take pride in building real relationships with the people who walk through their doors. Whether it’s a quiet solo meal or bringing friends along, the experience always feels personal, relaxed, and just… right. It’s rare to find a place that balances incredible food with such heartfelt hospitality. This place is a gem in every sense of the word. I feel lucky to have found it and even luckier to be a regular. Highly, highly recommended.

Local Asian food (kopitiam) cafe. Visited for few times. Variety choices of foods on the menu (noodle soup, sarawak laksa, nasi lemak, fried rice), toast (varieties choices). Coffee (chinese kopi) was rich of coffee taste and nice to drink. Price are reasonable. Service staff are attentive and friendly. Cafe was clean, provide out door seating. In door would been cooler then out door, if you went during afternoon times.
